A leading organisation within the Oil & Gas industry in Saudi Arabia, is seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer. Native Arabic speakers, based in Saudi are welcome to apply. Salary:  SAR 20,000 - 30,000

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Foresee legal contingencies that may affect corporate interests, making and reviewing all sort of business contracts, reports, agreements and legal documents.

• Verify the legal framework within which the operations of the company and its subsidiaries must be carried out. 

• Participate and provide advise on legal issues involved in internal rules and policies and timely responds to legal queries made by the company corporate bodies and management.
  

• Procure the greatest possible legal protection for the activities carried out by the companies following up the legal proceedings in which such companies may be involved and whenever legally possible and agreed with management, represents the companies in such proceedings.
  

• Comply with the firm's policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  

• Provide advise on commercial and financial agreements to be entered by the organisation and whenever instructed on draft provisions or agreements. Assist the referred companies in complying with corporate regulatory requirements including those imposed by corporate registries.

  
  

• Comply with the organisation's policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

  
  

• Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with and develop his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelor Degree in Law

• Saudi Nationals are preferred

• Eligible candidates must be a registered lawyer

• Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic

• Approximately 3-5 years of experience is required in corporate legal and public listed companies

• Experience in Tadawul (Saudi stock market) is a must
