Responsibilities

Manage the safety and risk associated with construction projects and company operations.

Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines

Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety

Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law

Plan, direct and implement the Company’s safety program to ensure a safe, healthy and accident free work environment.

Plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, safe equipment operating techniques and fire prevention for job sites and office.

Plan and implement risk management, safety policies and procedures in compliance with all local rules and regulations, including MSDS requirements, for both field and office operations, to maximize a safe working environment.

Oversee and ensure compliance with all aspects of managing Site Specific Safety Plans

Oversees the Safety Personnel in ensuring the Company and its job sites remain hazard and accident free by conducting periodic safety inspections.

Ensure each construction project is conducting operations in a safe manner for the protection of our employees, clients, subcontractors and the general public.

Ensures compliance with all local safety related regulations.

Qualification

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in industrial engineering , safety management, environmental science, occupational health or other related field.

Minimum 20 years of direct safety experience in the construction industry.

Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines

Certified / Qualified Health and Safety Professional.

Excellent organizational and motivational skills

Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
