PETRPSERV LIMITED is seeking a design engineer (Roads&Infra) with experience working in a collaborative team environment. The right person will be responsible for multifaceted engineering design tasks, project delivery, and interacting with client and consultant.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production of plans, specifications, and estimates for construction for the project
• Serve as liaison between design consultant, client and the organization's project team
• Assist in developing the scope of work for engineering tasks, design schedules and budgets for assigned project elements; monitor progress against schedule and budget requirements; and identify and document changes in scope
• Assist in determining the scope of work for procurement of materials and equipment, procurement schedules; monitor progress to maintain those procurements; and interface with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process
• Take part in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project
• In charge in preparing technical reports and documentation of activity
• Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project disciplines
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• Technical and Design expertise
• Roads and Infrastructure experience in Qatar
• MMUP License is a plus
