Job title: ETL developer
Contract: 6 Mon (potentially renewable) 
Location: Dubai

 

Role Description 

• Be the project manager representative for this project
• Clarify and confirm scope
• Design, develop and publish ETL packages
• Automate, optimize and fine tune for performance ETL packages
• Ensure data quality, data integrity and data availability  

Role Expectations   

Responsible for managing timely and quality delivery of the largest and most complex technology infrastructure and/or IT systems projects. Able to take full responsibility for the project initiation, definition, planning, delivery and satisfactory completion of assigned projects. Accountable for managing delivery of assigned project(s), including scope, schedule and quality management, and status reporting. Manages requirements gathering , communication and risk assesment. Complies with DA Project Management & Project governance practices

Minimum Qualifications/Experience 

 Bachelor’s Degree holder in Computer Science
Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing & delivering projects for complex technology systems in enterprise environment
Design, build and deploy effective ETL package
Implement stored procedures and effectively query a database
Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code
Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution
Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages
Provide support and fix issues in the packages
Flexible in ETL tool selection( SSIS, Informatica, ODWHB,…)
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Experience forming and maintaining relationships with Senior Leaders and external stakeholders Knowledge of the aviation industry and aviation solutions is preferable
