    FCT Combustion’s products include a world-leading range of burner systems, valve trains and burner management systems, as well as services including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

    FCT ACTech specialises in delivering analytical solutions through its range of XRF and XRD analysers.

    We seek a motivated and experienced Group Sales Manager – EU to work across both companies, with a specific focus on the European cement industry. The role will be based from our office in Vienna, Austria.

    Role Functions

    ·       Establish and maintain strong relationships with all accounts

    ·       Performing technical/ sales demonstrations and providing training as required

    ·       Preparation of detailed technical/ commercial proposals

    ·       Participation in engineering design activities and equipment selection

    ·       Coordinating/ developing cost estimates

    ·       Technical consultation and negotiating contracts with clients (in conjunction with the FCT Combustion and FCT ACTech lead engineers)

    ·       Assisting with the project execution of contracts

    ·       Achieving and maintaining a high level of technical proficiency

    ·       Maintenance of account records

    ·       Timely submission of all required paperwork including Reports, Expense Accounts, Forecasts, Lost Order Reports, Bid Opening Results, Competitive Marketing Information

    ·       Submission of Territorial Marketing Plan

    ·       Sales calls and conducting proper lead follow-up programs

    ·       Maintenance and safekeeping of all assigned company property

    ·       Travel as required

    Necessary Criteria

    ·       Strong network of contacts at management level (Plant, Production, Process, Operations and QC Managers) within the European cement industry

    ·       Exceptional understanding of the cement manufacturing process

    ·       Experience in engineering and technical sales in related industries (industrial B2B)

    ·       Clear understanding of/ exposure to combustion/pyro-processing and fuel handling systems

    ·       Deep understanding of XRD/XRF/PGNAA analytical instruments and other online equipment

    ·       Ability to travel (50% of the time)

    Desirable Criteria

    ·       5+ years’ experience in cement or mineral processing industries

    ·       Experience with combustion/pyro-processing and fuel handling

    ·       Experience with XRD/XRF/PGNAA analytical instruments and other online equipment

    Preferred Qualifications

    ·       4-year degree in Engineering or Science

    ·       5+ years successful experience in industrial B2B sales environment

    ·       Valid driver’s license
