You will be on the front line to fight for justice and equality for all sentient beings through your mastery of the English language and passion for people, animals and preserving our natural world.

As their Head of Communications, you will be the primary conduit through which all their content will be channelled so your competence in all areas of communications is of strategically critical importance! You’ll be putting together a strategic marcomms plan for the various content channels of the organisation and pulling together metrics and analysis tools to maximise their impact.

With a heavy leaning towards activities requiring exceptional copy-writing, you will be representing this organisation across all channels with a positive vibe. You will be raising awareness of veganism and other social justice issues as well as providing tools for advocates working to create a more compassionate and just world with an impact-oriented approach. The clarity of message needs to come across in social media posts, press releases, articles and speaking events so at least 5 years of experience working across these areas is required.

Other useful attributes include:

• A healthy interest in ethics, intersectionality, privilege, human and animal rights movements and the part these play in shaping our future.
• Can-do attitude and self-starter.
• Top class writing and editing skills - broadsheet media standard.
• Highly organised - used to deadlines, and works with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to travel within EU if required.
• Committed to managing life/work balance as appropriate
• A strong moral compass and passionate about achieving social justice
• A desire to reach across all cultures and geographical boundaries using positive communications to advocate to “be a force for good” in the world.
• A PR and Comms background is preferred, but journalism or marketing with public relations will also be considered.

The team is based in London, though we are open to remote applicants.
