Key Account Manager - SaudiArabia

Job Purpose

To develop the foodservice business within the Central Region of Saudi Arabia by managing existing (Key) accounts, developing new accounts and leading the Sales team in the Central Region.

Key accountabilities

New customers
  • Consistently seek new customers within the assigned area to build the customer base and increase sales results
  • Approach prospective customers, negotiate and close agreements / represents the company in tenders for all company’s product supplies.
Customer Relationship
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship and partnership with customers especially with decision makers to facilitate collaboration and the achieve set sales targets.
  • Provide customers with superior customer service levels to gain their loyalty and sustain long term business cooperation.
Building Business with existing Customers
  • Develop and conduct ideas, plans and activities that will grow the business with existing customers
  • Use the company’s products to offer customers solutions to their Foodservice needs
Coaching and People Development
  • Provide the team with the necessary formal training, coaching and mentoring to develop their capabilities and maximize their productivity
  • Set annual goals and conduct regular performance reviews in line with the company’s performance management cycle
Market Intelligence
  • Identify and report key competitive activities and price changes to develop necessary business plans.
Receivables & Collection
  • Ensure that all receivables and collections are within the agreed payment / credit terms to sustain the company's cash flow levels.
Inventory Management & Forecasting
  • Ensure accurate Sales forecast to achieve optimum inventory levels and stock availability
Business Reporting and Analysis
  • Provide reports related to Sales, Margin, Inventory and Business Development
  • Provide analysis to Senior Management to high light opportunities, risks and successes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or other related field
  • At least 2 years experience in managing Sales teams within the Foodservice industry in Saudi Arabia
