The Role

Reporting into the CFO and supported by the Assistant Accountant, you will take responsibility for producing management accounts for our rapidly growing business. 

What you'll do: 

 

• Produce accurate monthly accounts and relevant commercial commentary
  
• Recording, reconciling revenue and analysis.
  
• Preparing and approving balance sheet reconciliations
  
• Inventory management and analysis
  
• Quarterly VAT return submission and other tax compliance
  
• Cash flow forecasting and analysis
  
• Managing interfaces from third party systems (ecommerce / customer data)
  
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  
• Work with the wider team to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for internal process development
  
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
  
• Ad-hoc financial analysis, financial modelling, reporting and project assignments as required
  
• Monthly cash flow forecasting
  

 

What you'll need:

 

·       3 years Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA

·       Proven experience as management accountant or supervisor in a similar role

·       Experience within SME in an e-commerce business – fashion or beauty is desirable

·       Working knowledge of financial software.

·       Solid knowledge of basic and advance accountings and financial principles and practices

·       Strong interpersonal skills.  A problem solver with attention to detail

·       Organisational and leadership skills
