Job Description Summary
The Core Products Manager will support the overall end-to-end responsibility for T&E and B2B Products go-to-market plans, sales enablement and strategy execution in Italy.
He/she will work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to train the sales force on new B2B product launches, embed Core Products in account plans, and manage deployments and ongoing global platform performance and to support sales efforts to accelerate Mastercard revenue in the division.
Moreover, the Manager will collaborate with the Regional Product Management team of Commercial Products, as well as the different country Product & Services teams (such as Digital Payments, C&I, Advisors,..) to provide local market input to the Global Product strategy, and to translate and localize that strategy for implementation in the country.
This role requires execution abilities, a payments business orientation, proven cross-functional project management and knowledge of the payments value chain.

Job Description Summary

Role
- Deliver ongoing Italy customer commitments, specifically supporting and accelerating the migration of customer portfolios to Mastercard
- Provide Go-to-Market plan and sales enablement for new solution launches
- Provide Voice of Customer and market intelligence to inform the development of the European and Global Core Products strategies, and the development of customer-centric value propositions
- Bring global developments and innovation to Italy where relevant and help export them to other countries in collaboration with regional Core Product teams
- Manage cross-functional relationships with the country’s Sales & Account Management teams to develop product commercialization strategy
- Develop Go To Market plans and adapt sales enablement content for new product launches and, in collaboration with Sales team, deliver sales training
- Oversee the successful delivery and launch of new initiatives
- Support business development through relevant customer meetings, RFP response support, translate deal-specific needs into product requirements (where applicable)
- Craft account-level Core Product strategy in partnership with Sales and support complex sales discussions
- Develop deep understanding of Core Products and channels from both an issuer, acquirer and consumer perspectives in order to effectively inform strategy
- Relevant experience in product management, with proven track record to bring new B2B products and innovations to market
- Strong experience in Payment systems of banks and strong understanding of the payments value chain
- Ability to champion product innovation that creates differentiation in the market
- Ability to win Sales and Account Manager buy-in, and manage execution against sales strategy
- Ability to drive results while being resourceful and tactful within a corporate environment, managing multiple initiatives
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- University degree;
- MBA is a plus;
- English fluency is required
