We are looking for a “Product Engineer” for one of our client who is a leading company in retail sector at stationery & toys area.

The ideal candidate willl be reporting to Supply Chain Director, ideally is/has;

 

• Graduated from Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Engineering or related departments of universities,
• Good command of English,
• Having at least 3 years of experience in a product development position, preferably in a manufacturing company in the FMCG sector,
• Worked / working on product, packaging engineering and optimization,
• Engaged in process development,
• Capable of analytical thinking, problem solving and system development,
• SAP MM, PP module experience
• Can work accurately and meticulously, giving importance to details,
• Eager to learn, responsible, dynamic, initiative-oriented, result-oriented

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

• Undertake ownership of product engineering and product data management processes

• To define product recipe and routing in ERP system by getting product recipe, route and packaging information from different departments for new product projects.

• Setting up and monitoring the product prescription change management system

• To set up phase-out and phase-out processes

• Ensuring that standard procedures for product data management are developed and documented

• To support the feasibility, cost and concept studies related to the product in new projects,

• To examine similar competing products in the market in terms of features, techniques and costs,

• To make product packaging engineering and optimization studies

• Documenting and managing packaging data, standardization.

• Ensuring the accuracy of the studies by following up the first productions in the process of new product or revised product packaging works.

• Checking and reporting the packaging and stock levels and making simplification studies.

• To develop specifications for pricing, audits, packaging improvement and packaging cost savings reviews, and to provide accurate specification information for required internal requests.
