    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Summary/Objective 

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for the sale of fluid system components, solutions, and related services to business and industrial facilities as well as individuals within factories, plants, or other locations. This position is responsible for the growth and maintenance of assigned accounts in their target segment and is accountable for reaching sales targets and activity/task goals. Should have atleast 3 years of technical field expirience in Oil & Gas petrochemical industry, atleast 3 years of experience in sales related to instrumentation, fittings, valves, regulators, Hoses…etc. Strong connections and good relation ship with the Major companies in Saudi Arabia. Should be based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.


    Essential Functions

    • Grow sales at existing customers in assigned target segment by following up on transactional activity from daily business system reporting.


    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls as well as emails utilizing marketing data.


    • Understand customer needs and requirements, and provide quotes and technical assistance as needed.


    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.


    • Manage end to end selling process ( including generating leads, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our products and service offerings) to build an optimal sales pipeline that will drive sales growth


    • Achieve annual sales targets established by the organization and execute business development/sales strategies as well as territorial plans


    • Understand business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability, Demonstrate knowledge of market and competition; Align work with strategic goals

     

    • Technical Skills; peruse training and development opportunities, strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.


    • Problem solving ability; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner


    • Project Management; develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate change and progress, complete project on time and in budget, manage project team activities.

     

    • Customer service focused; Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; Solicit customer feedback to improve service. Respond to requests for service and assistance; Meet commitments.

     

    • Communication skills; speak clearly and persuasively, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions.

     Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably instrumentation and control)


    Preferred Skills and Competencies

    1. Technical sales background
    2. Experience with fluid system components, systems, or processes
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    4. Strong computer skills and prior experience with a CRM database
    5. Strong spoken and written English Language Skills
    6. Analytical mathematical skills


    Supervisory Responsibility

    Assigned accounts and customers


    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment as well as home office and out in the field. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

      

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Thursday, 8 hours each. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


    Travel 

    Travel is expected for this position based on assigned territory or for training purposes to USA
