We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager in our Qatar office to manage multiple concurrent projects and oversee general operations. Reporting to the Global Operations Director, the successful candidate will also work closely a technical team of BI Consultants in the region as well as the Global Sales Director. The ideal candidate will have previous SAP BI technical development experience as well as Project Management responsibilities within a consultancy environment.

 

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage project lifecycle for multiple new projects in Qatar and create complete project plans and schedules using MS Project.
• Support the Senior Director, PMO & Operations with SOWs (review and obtain signature from customers).
• Work closely with Sales team to manage accounts and support with new business development initiatives.
• Work closely with our Customers to understand their problems, deliver quality solutions, and ensure that customer satisfaction remains high; stakeholder management at C levels.
• Follow Project Management Institute methodology as well as internal Clariba PM process to ensure detailed tracking and communication of project progress from a task, time, schedule, and cost perspective.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans enabling intelligent decision making by all stakeholders.
• Identify risks and dependancies; escalate them to the Senior Techical Manager and Senior Director, PMO & Operations if required.
• Liaise and collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Senior Director, PMO & Operations) to ensure that project finances, expenditures, and resources are correctly monitored and forecasted at all times.
• Utilize policies, procedures and business plan to make decisions in the best interest of Clariba.

 

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology field of study.
• Ideal experience includes 6-10 years in progressive BI career:
• At least 3-5 years in earlier career as a SAP Developer and/or Team Lead for BI consultancy practice PLUS
• At least 3-5 years of BI Project Management experience within “strong-matrix” consultancy environment, working with external clients
• Ideally some previous experience managing SAP S4HANA and SAP BusinessObjects projects
• Nice to have previous exprience managing SAP Strategy Management or SAP Arriba projects
• A proven track record for project initiation, planning, executing, controlling and closing on projects (with references).
• A clear understanding of SAP Business Intelligence solutions, licencing and architecture.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and relating with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
• Absolute fluency in written and spoken English.

 

Desirable Experience and Knowledge:

• PMP designation or working towards it.
• ScrumMaster or Agile Certification.
• Previous Business Analysis experience.
• Toast Masters accreditation or formal public speaking/presentation affiliation.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is a plus.

Work Environment Requirements:

• Able to be based in Doha, Qatar.
• Available for regular travel within Middle East countries with no visa pre-requisites.
• Comfortable working in multicultural environment;
• Ability to multi-task with a variety of customers and projects.

 

Education:

• University Level Degree required (preferably Computer Engineering / Math / IT)
