    Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the retail & merchandising industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a variety of large scale business-focused projects out of their Huntersville, NC offices.

    The Senior Project Manager will work in the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) as a leader in managing/ driving high profile business initiatives and improving processes that drive the strategic direction across multiple verticals of the organization such as sales, finance, supply chain, marketing etc. from a project management perspective. Excellent communication skills are critical for this client-facing role!

    • 5+ years’ experience managing and maintaining project schedules using MS Project (intermediate to advanced), required.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certifications
    • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio, and SharePoint (intermediate to advanced), required.
    • Vast knowledge of important elements or project management, i.e. project governance, resource management, risk and issue management, dependency management, project lifecycles, Tollgating, and overall project management best practices, required.
    • Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems related to projects.
    • Ability to be proactive and the ability to work independently or within a team.
    • Attention to Detail and the Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Financial services experience a plus.
    • Preferred experience managing a project within a program or directly supporting a program


    Specific Responsibilities
    • The Project Manager will be responsible for keeping all deadlines, deliverables, budgeting, and open lines of communication throughout the organization.
    • This role will require the Project Manager to work across numerous business areas specifically sales, marketing, internal, and upper-level management to impact and build well-controlled processes for performance.
    • The Project Manager will be responsible for strategy, planning and execution of numerous transformation initiatives and designed to move the performance operations organization forward in global capabilities.
    • Experience in driving large-scale projects within an organization.
    • You will be responsible for influencing stakeholders, business partners, and technical teams to make sure you are hitting timelines.
    • Poised and composed interaction with all levels of the organization including the senior-level audience
