Job Description:
The Data Analyst will support the Public Markets teams to make informed and timely investment decisions. The individual will update, maintain and process various databases, analytical platforms, and reports to ensure the best quality of data and output. The Data Analyst will improve and enhance internal systems for efficiency and accuracy. The job involves regular communication with third-party data and analytical service providers and various internal teams.

Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Certification: CFA or CAIA preferred.
Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years.
Language Skills: Fluency in English.
Nature of Experience: Solid understanding of investment management concepts and passionate about investment data, knowledge of portfolio management and performance statistics. A deep understanding of data collection and management practices and reporting formats.
High-Level Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand the business objectives and requirements of the Public Markets teams and help to develop solutions with internal (e.g., IT, Operations, etc.) stakeholders and external service providers.
- Act as a subject matter expert on investment data sources, processes, and methodologies.
- Conduct day to day management of multiple data processes by prioritizing objectives.
- Manage data upload from custodians into portfolio management systems.
- Track and resolve any manager/fund performance-related issues, discrepancies.
- Meet the predetermined production deadlines.
- Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with asset managers and third-party service providers.
- Continuously evaluate procedures; create and enhance analytical tools.
- Initiate and research innovative ideas for investment analytics and methodologies.
- Documents business requirements, processes, and procedures to ensure transparency and business continuity.
- Knowledge of analytical systems, databases and platforms is highly desirable (Barra, FactSet, eVestment, Bloomberg, Eikon, MPI).
