Market Access Head - KSA

A leading multinational pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Market Access Head to join their team in KSA. The key aspects of the role include:

 

• Develop and oversee Market Access strategy, tactics and operations for our client’s portfolio products in KSA.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop a strategic approach to Market Access to ensure optimal product access and secure formulary listings of our client’s portfolio.

• Works with MENA and Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa teams to ensure pricing is within the Global Pricing & Market Access strategy.

• Drive and speed-up market access preparations for key brands.

• Pro-actively manage the external environment to improve the context for market access and identify new business/pricing options for key brands.

• Negotiate price and reimbursement for launch brands; optimize price and reimbursement throughout the life cycle across portfolio.

• Position the company as a key partner in Gulf, build strong local and regional stakeholder relationships and contribute to positive policy development.

• Lead the Key Account Management Team with a focus to develop a full stakeholder mapping, external engagement roadmap towards achieving a ‘preferred partner status’ for the company and fast listing inclusion timings.

• Drive the Key Account alignments across all functions internally

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

 

• Saudi National

• University degree in Bioscience / Pharmaceutical

• Significant (7 – 10 years) experience in Pricing and/or Market Access in Pharma, Biotechnology and/or Device Industries.

• Significant experience in Pharma Marketing

• Commanding an excellent understanding of the healthcare systems of Saudi Arabia

• Excellent communication skills at all levels

• Proven ability to work effectively across a matrixed and widely-dispersed organization

• Excellent analytical ability and demonstrated the ability to lead other professionals
