**Purpose of the role & accountabilities**
Our busy contact centre is full of dedicated, positive people who enjoy an environment focussed on teamwork and collaboration. Were now looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join our Compliance team who will work with internal stakeholders to improve the quality of service and customer experiences
The primary focus of this role is to independently quality monitor our service through ongoing call and account monitoring, error investigation, routine reviews as part of the compliance monitoring plan and analysis of the results and outcomes.

Youll assist the business in ensuring they remain compliant with all FCA rules, guidance and principles as well as internal policies and processes.
  • Conduct regular second line call listening activities.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring reviews within the Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP). This will involve investigating and reporting on
  • he regulatory impact, compliance risks and recommending solutions
  • Management of actions through to completion.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the Compliance Monitoring Program and recommend changes to increase the robustness of the second
  • ine of defence.
  • Proactively interact between compliance and the business using your knowledge to assist the business in assessing, controlling and mitigating regulatory risk.
  • Build a strong relationship with the First Line of Defence Teams to ensure the delivery of an effective risk framework.
**Core technical skills**
Well be looking for you to demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment FCA, CCA, ICO, ASA.
  • Compliance monitoring experience within an FCA regulated business would be preferred.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Accurate and articulate report writing
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent risk-based judgement skills.
**Non-core technical skills**
You should also be proactive, enthusiastic and wanting to build an active relationship between compliance and different areas of the business. Youll succeed in this role if youre results focussed, a strong team player and are passionate about continuous professional development.

**The Process**
