LABORER CAS (S) - (OCN)

Position Summary

This position performs a variety of task related to electrical, HVAC, plumbing preventive and corrective maintenance jobs. Responds to whatever job/trades that needed additional personnel to perform tasks assigned.

Major Job Activities

• Preventive Maintenance
• Service Orders
• Non value added work (Shop clean-up, Inventory of Tools)
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.
  

Material & Equipment Directly Used

Basic tools and equipment.

Working Environment/Physical Activities

In this position there is exposure to physical and working conditions where serious accidents or injuries may occur, exposure to disagreeable noise elements and prolonged high ambient temperatures. Outdoor evnvironment, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects. Digging, parts chasing, bending and running electrical conduit mixing and spreading concrete.

• Must be able to lift/push/pull 35-45 lbs.
  

Education/Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical school diploma is required or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience.

Program Specific Requirements

• Must have basic knowledge and working experience as a maintenance man or handyman.
• Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Facility Maintenance.
• Able to communicate clearly in English with U.S. customer.
