To reinforce the Product Engineering Department we are looking for a

 

SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER

who will lead Product Design and will manage the Product Development inside the R+D department. He will be responsible of understanding customer and UFI requirements, of designing filter products applying standards defined by the competence centers, meeting technical and commercial product requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• R&D representative in the Project team
• Managing R&D functions and services to develop the product i.e. design, testing, simulation, prototyping, patents, costs
• Assure the definition and implementation of needed recovery plans
• Understand the Customer and the Company requirements in terms of performance, timing, quality and cost, defining the product requirements and specifications
• In alignment with PM and Team, is responsible to manage all the technical communication with external and internal actors (Customer, suppliers and internal department)
• Applies all technical inputs to compose the technical drawing
• Represents the R&D team for R&D related contents at the customer
• Reports to the Engineering Center Manager by updated status of the R&D related parameters, customer requirements and gaps of the current product performances/capabilities
• Applies product standards created by the Product Competence Centers.
• Report R&D projects status into the project team and to the Project Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

• Bachelor or Master degree or similar in Mechanical, electrical, material-engineering
• Relevant experience in mechanical design
• 2 years experience in similar position
• Excellent spoken and written English
•  Strong organizational skills
• Strong comunication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• At least 3 years experience with one common CAD system
• Project management skills of clear advantage but not mandatory
