About The Role Reporting to Head, Growth, you will support the Growth Project team and Supply Chain Management (Centre of Excellence) to lead supply chain design activities in our major petrochemical investment projects from feasibility, FEED, through successful EPC execution. The projects are both located in UAE, and across Asia Pacific and would require leadership and major project skills on handling external partners including engineering consultants as well as internal project stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
- Critical point of contact and accountability as Supply Chain interface for all major growth projects, with clear knowledge in project progress, supply chain stream development
- Possess strong and proven experience in handling supply chain design and operations pertaining to major assets producing petrochemical products (both solid and liquid)
- Provide project specific supervision over the onshore and offshore logistics design for the engineering consultant, based on internal business requirements and integration with existing assets’ supply chain network
- Lead and manage the supply chain design activities to ensure the delivery of design requirements, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
- Prepare business case on the supply chain design as well as the basis of design documentation to guide design engineers. Perform simulation and modelling for evaluating options of the design
- Lead, identify, assess and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain configuration on tactical and strategic level, with consideration of inventory, variable logistics costs, asset utilization, product quality and service level to customers
- Attend meetings, providing supply chain updates and reports, as well as liaising with internal and external key stakeholders. Participate in major project proposal meetings
- Participate in supply chain strategy development, and develop implementation plans, and methods of dealing with business requirements, including preparation of project specific configuration with integration to global supply chain configuration
- Test supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through modeling techniques (simulation)
- Responsible for the overall progress on supply chain design activities.
- Create and execute Project Work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Ensure project documents are complete, up to date and stored appropriately
- Coordinate project activities with regulatory body or business associations, if necessary
- Align with major stakeholders on relevant project issues
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related science disciplines
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Mastery of English at business level
- 8 to 10 years experience in supply chain experience, and must possess supply chain development works experience and able to manage multiple projects
- APICS CPIM / CLTD certification
- Solid understanding of olefin, polyolefin and liquid chemcials (C4 and Benzene stream), and overall petrochemical supply chain trade flow and asset configuration
- Solid modelling skills for evaluation of supply chain configurations (e.g. stochastic modelling)
- Experience in piping for liquid transfer, and pneumatic conveying systems for solid materials is a plus
- Experience in managing supply chain scope in investment projects
- Excellent project management knowledge and handle project budget
- Recognized for sound decision making and for not being conflict avoiding

- Prior supply chain operations experience in Petrochemical company (both solid and liquid)
- Demonstrated business leadership, project management and supply chain development abilities
- Demonstrated strategic development capability to define implementation roadmap, with experience managing complex supply chain configuration from feasibility stage into realization stage
