The Role

We are looking for Ward Support Assistants to join our team in providing the best of non-clinical support to the staff and patients and play a pivotal role in maintaining the clinical environment at the Alfred Hospital.

Your tasks may include but not be limited to:

  • Care and Maintenance of the clinical environment
  • Re-stocking clinical supplies
  • Discharge and General Cleaning
  • Patient Re-positioning
  • Pathology and general courier tasks

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent and effective communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • 1 or more years’ experience working in a clinical environment
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • An understanding of clinical confidentiality
  • Successful applicants must hold HSA Cert III
