About the role
The Student Project Officer – Social Outcomes(12 month position) is aimed at undergraduate or post-graduate students enrolled in the latter stages of University, TAFE or equivalent study in social outcomes, land use planning, economic development, transport planning, environmental outcomes, strategic planning and policy development or similar field.


The Social Outcomes team works on a range of research, data collection, data analysis and data visualisation projects to help build the capacity and capability of Council and the City.


This is a temporary part-time role (21 hours per week over 3 days). You must be a student to be eligible for this position.


About the person
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable person who is considering a career in local government and who wants to make a difference. You will have excellent academic results and be able to work as part of a team, and be able to provide examples of voluntary or paid work experience. You will also have highly developed communication, interpersonal, problem solving, planning and time management skills.


What’s on offer
