  • Purpose of the position and Accountabilities**. Were passionate about helping our customer and we believe there's a better way to do finance. You'd be joining the Credit and Analysis team who are responsible for defining our acquisition, marketing, fraud, underwriting, customer management and collections strategies. You will be a catalyst to bring the power of data & analytics to the business. This offers an exciting opportunity for numerate professionals to develop within a rapidly growing Fintech company. The successful candidate will be a key player in this team, providing analytical support across a number of different areas.

  • You'll be engaging with stakeholders across multiple areas including operations, finance, IT, marketing, compliance and senior management. Just some of the things you'll be getting involved in are:.
  • Assisting with developing and maintaining valuations models.
  • Assisting with optimising decisions for profitability whilst maintaining credit quality.
  • Providing monitoring and MI to understand the impact of credit risk strategies.
  • Providing ideas, identifying opportunities and recommendations to improve customer outcomes & business strategies through analysis and implementing these. **About you and your experience**. First and foremost, the successful candidate must be intellectually curious with a passion for making data driven decisions.

  • 2.1 or above in a numerical degree.
  • Credit Risk experience within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Coding experience is advantageous; SQL, R, Python, VBA and similar are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn.
  • Excellent communicator who's able to articulate complex information.
  • You can build strong, mutually respectful relationships with diverse teams.
  • Extremely self-motivated and can work autonomously.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can demonstrate initiative. **The process**.
