POSITION PURPOSE

Under the Guidance of the Director of Human Resources you are responsible to provide a full range of employee relations support and administration in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department and the property's compliance to the local labor laws and regulations. Contribute to the desired work culture around the measurements of success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Responsible to ensure all signatory requirements for the Director of HR;
  • Responsible for issue of new starter announcements;
  • Assist in preparation of new policies & procedures;
  • Coordinate associate recognition program of the hotel;
  • Full assistance to the social and sport activities, including birthday celebrations and life events of associates;
  • Coordinate the bookings required for the new associates according to the company policy.

  • Upkeep and monitoring of all associate files ensuring that all is in place as per audit requirements. To make sure all documents are filed immediately;
  • Prepare all arrival documents for new associates;
  • To support HR projects as and when required;
  • Responsible and accountable for associate’s passport and to issue if requested with proper documentation;
  • Assist Director of Human Resources in conducting regular associate meetings to keep all associates informed;
  • Support in planning and organizing quarterly associate meetings to enhance associates communication;
  • Assist in the Community Action plan ensuring all associates involved in projects which support the community.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Has previous experience in administrative role;
  • Current/ previous hotel’s background will be an advantage;
  • Totally embraces the philosophy of guest and customer service and owns the (internal) guests;
  • Identify with the hotel’s brand and operating philosophy;
  • Possess a warm and friendly demeanor;
  • Strive to achieve satisfaction and delight of our associates;
  • Are detail-oriented.
