Job Description:
- The candidate will be responsible for executing key strategic projects for the Cross border platform aimed at increasing business value and achieving key targets allocated
- The candidate will be responsible for developing plans for projects, execute them in a timely fashion and work towards optimization
- They will work closely with the management team to ensure alignment on the above mentioned projects
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting in planning, monitoring and executing strategies relating to tech and product updates in all countries
- For that, it will be required to be in frequent contact with colleagues in all Daraz countries, as well as our team in Shenzhen, China, to collect product needs and push for execution
- We are a data driven company - the candidate should have a good grasp on excel and data analytics to keep a close check on all projects, targets and make decisions backed by data
- The candidate will be required to work closely with the Business Intelligence team to get data and improve reports to keep track of key department KPIs
- The candidate needs to develop and maintain very detailed insights into the current regional e-commerce markets for any strategic developments
- Research, analyze and present market trends and project recommendations on a weekly basis
- The candidate shall be sensitive to the customer journey on our Cross-Border channels, and manage this experience
- For that purpose, the candidate must be aware of local campaigns, their relevance to Cross Border overlook the management of CB’s participation in such campaigns
- The candidate needs to be a quick thinker and need to be able to think out of the box for quick and relevant issue resolutions
- The candidate should have insights into the relevant laws of Pakistan in terms of customs, imports and general e-commerce. They should be able replicate this for all other Daraz countries.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in project management or strategic policy making
- Experience in a start-up, e-commerce is a plus
- Excel proficiency and experience with data analytic tools (SQL)
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Bachelor's degree
- Good organizational and communication skills, able to respond well and work under pressure and has a positive can-do attitude.
- Substantial successful experience of delivering services, managing business cycles, developing business plans and PMOs, E-commerce with dynamic inter personal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
