The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team in Moorabbin, Victoria. The team is responsible for delivering to students studying Aviation, residing onsite in a purpose-built accommodation facilities. This is a part time position with hours available Thursday and Friday, 11:30am - 8pm.

Key Duties

• Food preparation such as making salads and sandwiches
• Basic Cooking Skills
• Cash handling experience
• Maintaining the service area to high standards
• Provision of excellent customer service to internal and external clients
• Cleaning duties in kitchen and service areas
• Receive and deliver stock as well as cash handling
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Showcase excellent time management skills

The Person

• Previous Catering Assistant experience
• Basic knife skills
• Knowledge of micros POS system would be beneficial
• Be reliable, well-organised and full of passion for what you do
• Outgoing personality with great communication skills
• Great work ethic with flexibility and willingness to multi task
