Job Purpose

This is a new role within the Marketing Department, created to facilitate a strategic content marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience – and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action. The Content Marketing Executive will assist the Global Marketing Manager in planning, developing and implementing Nettitude’s overall content strategy. The Content Marketing Executive will play a key role within the Marketing team – the hub of creation. They will also have responsibility for leading internal authors through the content creation cycle. This role has responsibility for the creation and management of all online and offline Marketing content. Planning and producing a broad variety of content across various media channels, the Content Marketing Executive will need the ability to articulate on all levels, increasing engagement with internal and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining a consistent tone of voice for the Nettitude brand.

Role Requirements
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience in managing email campaigns and social media campaigns
  • Thorough understanding of SEO
  • Good understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proven content creation background in written, graphic and video content
  • Good working knowledge of CRM and CMS systems
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with A/B testing

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

All responsibilities are to be executed on a global and local level. The marketing department has adopted the agile approach of responding to the unique situations we face in each geographical market, whilst at the same time operating to promote the brand on a global level in line with the scale and scope of the business. Time in this role will be split appropriately between global and local marketing efforts.
  • Plan, develop and implement Nettitude’s overall content strategy. Apply corrective measures and optimise the strategy where needed, based on results
  • Collaborate across functions, departments and silos to deliver the strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
  • Develop editorial governance so content is consistent with Nettitude’s brand voice, style and tone
  • Create and manage social media campaigns with an understanding of the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
  • Manage the digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution
  • Manage quality control for all content
  • Analyse and forecast content performance
  • Manage and coordinate other content creators
  • Create editorial calendars and organisation workflow
  • Structure, edit and proofread content, ensure that all content is current
  • Monitor competitor content in the marketplace
  • Maintain, develop and enhance the Nettitude online identity with a strong focus on driving the end user experience by using media rich content and animation or video
  • Follow content marketing trends
  • Accountable for all contentmarketinginitiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention
  • Coordinate local field marketing activities including event planning, event management and associated pre-marketing campaigns, post-marketing campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Nettitude design and digital growth agencies
  • Support sales growth by underpinning the efforts of the local sales teams with marketing assistance including procuring collateral, creating client presentations, and executing lead generation and customer communication campaigns
  • Monitor and improve the overall SEO effort
  • Report project progress and outcomes to the Global Marketing Manager on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Undertake any other relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the marketing role as directed by the Global Marketing Manager
  • Liaise and collaborate with the wider Lloyds Register Marketing Department
Training

To be undertaken as required by management.
