The Estimating & Proposals Manager will be involved in all aspects of quoting service and support contracts for existing and new Dematic customers.

Ideally you will have gained experience of the delivery or planning of preventative and reactive maintenance and have a desire to move into an office based environment. This will give you the chance to put your skills and knowledge to use in the generation of customer maintenance proposals.

• This role will involve you understanding automated system design and using established tools to estimate the workload and cost of maintenance.
• Support and training will be provided in all areas, but it is important that you have a good practical experience of Microsoft excel and understand design drawings and 3D renders.
• The role will develop to also include preparation of sales proposals using the data that you will have had estimated above.
  

This is an office based role, however some travel will be required to support the sales process and further development of knowledge with our products and services.

To be successful in this hugely important and business focused position, you will be an experienced estimating bid manager steeped in delivering successfully to a vaierty of customers.

You Will Be

• Degree qualified or have completed a relevant industry Apprenticeship
• Experienced in the use of Autocad and having advanced excel skills
• Proven experience of developing suitable material handling solutions (ideally)
• Experience of costing to a suitable level of accuracy
• Experience of delivering presentations to customers
