The position of FAST FOOD COOK is one such dynamic position which requires much from an individual especially where exactness, timeliness and cleanliness are concerned. FAST FOOD COOK team members are the backbone of Chick’nCone. While their main work is to ensure every guest has a “hashtag or post worthy experience”, they also ensure every guest has a safe, delicious and nutritious meal. It is important for the FAST FOOD COOK team members to possess good mathematical skills, ability to follow recipes and directions, food safety understanding, conscientious of the cleanliness and

    orderliness of our store, and always, always, always holding our guests safety, satisfaction and

    experience above all else.


    Fast Food Cook Duties

    • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils

    • Rotate food products

    • Receive and check in deliveries

    • Bread chicken according to our propriety method

    • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas

    • Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared

    • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity

    • Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking

    • Clean, stock, and restock workstations

    • Schedule activities and equipment use with managers

    • Continually check to make sure food is in the safe zone and refrigerate chicken properly

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 18 years of age

    • Reliable Transportation (Public transport, carlift)

    • Able to read, communicate and follow directions

    • Able to perform work in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be able to work while standing for long periods of time

    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

    • Must have basic kitchen knife skills

    • Must follow all safety procedures

    • Must be able to perform basic math computations

    • Must be able to take direction

    • Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
