- Ensure work is completed and that plans and estimates are consistent;
- Ensure that contractors comply with rules regarding the client’s health and safety.
- Control material quality and quantities, write daily reports when necessary;
- Write site memos and notices intended for contractors in order to enforce compliance with contractual provisions;
- Take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations or written instructions for the work;
- Follow up with the contractor to annotate plans to produce the plans as stated;
- Attend site meetings;
- Carry out all other related tasks to assist in the completion of the project.
- College diploma in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering or other training deemed equivalent;
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in site supervision in industrial environments;
- Experience in CAD design in the field is considered a plus;
- Hold an ASP certification (health and safety course for construction sites);
- Experience in consulting engineering is considered a plus;
- Takes initiative, detail-oriented;
- Able to work as part of a team;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
