Dermalogica is looking for a Skin Therapist that can connect with anyone, excels at giving skin treatments, can easily create loyal relationships, and loves being a cheerleader on a team. The Dermalogica Toronto Education Centre is a place where Skin Therapists come to learn, be inspired and network, and customers come to purchase product and network as well. We are looking for someone who can thrive in this environment to build the business of their own treatment room within the Education Centre, finding new clients while retaining existing loyal clients, and giving every consumer the best experience. You will be a master of all things Dermalogica and skin, curious about new treatments and ultimately growing our productivity and utilization of the treatment room in our Education Centre.

What you will do:

• Dermalogica Treatments. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide outstanding skin treatments to consumers, Dermalogica prospect accounts, media, and students. You will be helping spread brand awareness and showcase the power of a personalized Dermalogica Skin Treatment. You will be responsible for the productivity of the treatment room, increasing your client base while maintaining your loyal clients.
• Grow Dermalogica Retail. You will help our student store reach its goal in growth by retailing after service, and networking with students to help prescribe a skincare routine and close the sale. You will also be helping out at the front desk when needed, further increasing your touchpoint with student store sales.
• Engage in the Dermalogica Community. We want to ensure that we are providing the best experience for our students, and consumers, no matter what the forum. You will be the go-to to help online consumers navigate their skincare journey, via the Sephora community and all social outlets with consumer questions (Zendesk, Facebook Professional)
• Be a cheerleader for the Education Team. As an integral part of the education team, you will be an advocate for all things education. Help instructors with set up/take down of their classrooms, helping with new treatment techniques, helping out with education/sales/consumer events, etc. No task is out of your realm for support!

• You are curious. You want to know about everything about the skin and Dermalogica products. You are up to date with all new innovations, treatments, procedures in the industry.
• You have a high level of initiative. You don’t wait to be asked, you see an opportunity to better the business and you do something about it. You are able to foresee what needs to be done and execute on it without much guidance.
• You are adaptable. When things change last minute, you are able to roll with the punches and keep everything moving.

• Full time position; 37.5 hours/week
• Working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am to 5pm; Thursdays 11-7pm; One Sunday a month
• Salary is $42,000, 5% bonus, 5% RRSP match, plus retail commissions
• Paid continued education
• You will be working out of the Toronto Education Centre: 720 King Street West, Toronto, ON. (Moving to 70 University Ave as of November 25th)
