UX/UI Designer

Infotek Consulting Services is looking for a UX/UI Designer for 10 months contract located in Montreal.

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for creating web experiences for Internal application that primarily focus on data visualizations and communication. The consultant must have a background in developing user experiences for web application that are used in desktop and mobile (tablet) environments

 

 

Mandate

Work with the development team to :

●   Create compelling, well-flowing user experiences using user-centered design and ergonomic design principles

●  Transform business requirement into real, working user interfaces

●  Design product information architecture to best support the user experience

●  Implement design guidelines, create mock-ups, and prototypes for web applications

Qualifications

• Bachelors in UX/UI, Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or related

             Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI Design

•  Must be fluent in both English and French 

• Proficiency in Adobe product (XD, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) 
• Proficiency and ability to define and create engaging UI Web interfaces
•  Understanding of design systems and Atomic design structure
•  Familiarity with Agile methodology, and Scrum workflow
• Knowledge of Accessibility principles and Mobile/Web Best Practices and optimization
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience UX design.
• Have in-depth understanding of user-centered Design Thinking principles and methodologies
• Ability to convey and communicate project work to developers, diverse stakeholder group, and product owners
• Must be easy to work with and a team player
• Ability to take direction and execute under tight deadlines
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively
