What will your typical day look like?

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will work directly with various internal and external stakeholders to understand the business need, gather requirements and analyze information related to technology requests. You will support Portfolio Managers and business leads to further develop, refine and maintain the various components of Deloitte’s IT strategy. You will prepare business cases and various work products to assist governance bodies in the portfolio decision-making process on run and invest initiatives. You will plan, coordinate meetings, conduct interviews, coordinate vendor discussions and run working sessions to acquire business requirements, facilitate solution design and coordinate approvals.

About The Team

The Portfolio Analyst will serve as an integral member of the Planning & Project Services team. This team supports leadership in the design, development and execution of IT strategy to ensure business satisfaction and overall organizational growth. He or she will work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and leaders from across Deloitte's IT and business organizations to assist in the advancement of technology enablement within the firm. The focus for this role is to perform business analysis, build business cases and facilitate meetings with various stakeholders that are key inputs in the Firm’s strategy.

You Are Someone Who Has

  • University degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience as a Portfolio or Business Analyst, with Information Technology projects
  • Demonstrates solid analytical/problem solving ability
  • Ability to work closely with both business and technical resources at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
