Company Name: Cushman & Wakefield
Location: Netherland
Job Title
(Senior) Data Scientist
Job Description Summary
As technology keeps developing and becomes more affordable—for both new and existing structures—and collaboration platforms, sensors, and smart devices continue to advance, the amount of data produced by buildings is increasing exponentially. This data can give real estate market participants (investors, asset managers, property managers, and tenants) a competitive advantage and help them avoid disruption if they use it effectively to develop data-driven services and new business models focused on the specific needs of users, owners, or the property itself.
Will you be our new colleague to get data driven decisions to the next level?
Job Description
DATA SCIENTIST
What will you do as a Data Scientist in Cushman & Wakefield
You solve complex problems with statistical programming languages for clients of Cushman & Wakefield, such as large banks, insurance companies and real estate investors. With your insight into data you can easily explain every complexity to the customer. In a young and ambitious team, you help to understand and solve the problems through statistical methods, like scoring algorithms, regressions and the use of machine learning with open sources such as Python or R.
Besides the quantitative part, you will be asked to present the findings in an understandable manner and include the customer in the solutions. Customer satisfaction is important to you, so you listen carefully and give insightful answers that give customers the confidence that the problem will be solved. You will get the time to develop new skills if needed, like specializing in big data or artificial intelligence projects. If you are in the right position, managing a project independently is a logical next step.
