Our client is a leading multinational financial services corporation, specialised in the payment services industry.

On the behalf of our client, we’re looking for a Managing Director for the Italian consulting branch, reporting to Southern Europe leadership.

The Managing Director plays an important role in working towards the team’s goals and assist in the delivery of detailed data gathering, analysis, insight and practical recommendations to enable successful delivery of client projects.

The position holder will lead the implementation of Europe Consulting strategy in the Italian market through the management of designated projects or technical areas; he/she will have to take initiative for sourcing new, and expanding on existing, consulting opportunities, using available data and insights from discussions with Account Executives and the Business Development team.

In addition, activities of the position will encompass leading and/or managing the delivery of consultancy projects, ensuring that they: are completed within agreed budgets and timeframes and meet client expectations.

Furthermore, this expert will lead, direct and guide less experienced colleagues within own project teams, supporting also resource allocation, by determining which contractors to use from partner networks. the ideal candidate has an extensive experience in retail banking and/or payment card industry in Italy and excellent sales orientation with responsibility for, and experience of, selling major projects/ideas to senior management ideally in retail banking and/or payments.

The right candidates for the role will present excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information. Languages: fluency in English and Italian.
