This is an opportunity for you to join one of the industry's foremost engineering consultancy engaged in marine and environment sectors. We are looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to join our team in Qatar and lead various environmental and sustainability aspects in our projects.

MAINTAINING THE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Environmental Specialist, you will join an interdisciplinary team of engineers, environmental scientists and specialists based in Qatar as well as various geographical locations worldwide.

Here in this role, you will be responsible for leading or contributing to the preparation of environmental reports including Environmental Scoping Reports, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs) reports, Environmental Baseline reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), Geo-environmental investigation reports, groundwater management studies, and other studies.

You will communicate with (environmental) authorities and clients along with contributing to or preparing technical and commercial proposals.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS CREATE VALUE

For a Senior Environmental Specialist, you should have a relevant BSc. and MSc. Environmental Engineering degree or equivalent Environmental Science or Sustainable Development Science degree from a reputable university

You should have five to eight years of work experience of which at least three years in the Middle East, as an expert/manager of environmental projects with an international environmental consultancy.

You should have a demonstrable experience with environmental permitting processes and projects in the Middle East including groundwater chemistry and modelling along with excellent reporting skills.

You must be fluent in Arabic and English.
