Industrial Waste Specialties (IWS), the Business Unit in charge of hazardous waste management within the SUEZ Division Recycling & Recovery Europe, was launched in 2016 in order to boost the business activity with industrial customers across Europe.
Who are we looking for?
Degree in Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering or a Bac+5 in Chemistry
Technical knowledge required: knowledge and strong interest in chemical engineering techniques such as dehydration and drying, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Languages: fluent in English and Italian. Another European language would be an advantage.
You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis. You are project-oriented and autonomous with good interpersonal skills, a capacity to listen and a good capacity for integration in an international context.

The French International Internship Programme (VIE) Is Open To
- French people between 18-28, who have fulfilled their national service obligations;
- Nationals of Member States of the European Economic Area (which includes the 27 Member States of the European Union and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Monaco, who have fulfilled the national service obligations in their State of residence.
The V.I.E. position will be based in Milan, for 12 months renewable:
Performance Monitoring
Your missions will be the following:
- Put in place the right KPIs (tonnes received, processed, shipped, stored...) in the Spanish sites
- Identified the productions lines where the implantation of OEE is necessary. And accompany the sites in Spain and Italy in the implementation.
- Put in place dashboards to follow KPIs and OEE.
- Carry out an inventory of the implementation of the BREF Waste Treatment for the SUEZ IWS sites in Spain and Italy
- Identify the technical issues on which the implementation of the BREF will have the greatest impact for the sites
- Provide the necessary support to the sites in Spain and Italy to ensure compliance with the BREF
- Establish links with other sites in the IWS scope to share experiences and solutions implemented
- Coordinate with the the Chemicals Europe industrial management for the sharing of experience and monitoring of compliance projects
- Contribute more broadly to the monitoring of regulatory compliance of sites
