Job Responsibilities
To work as part of an internal team servicing support requests on a variety of products across a range of businesses. Support will cover Desktop, Server, Active Directory, Networking, Telephone and Cloud Services. You will be expected to communicate via a helpdesk, email, telephone and in person to work with employees to resolve issues within defined time scales in a high-pressure environment. In addition you will be expected to liaise with senior team members and work as part of a team on selected project work.

Reporting to the Group IT Manager the core responsibilities are:
- Manage and service first and second line support tickets reassigning high level tickets where necessary
- Build client computer systems and assist with troubleshooting issues
- Keep existing documentation up to date
- Record processes and document for use by others
- Promote and maintain high quality work and deliver in a professional manner
- Test hardware and software
- Provide troubleshooting resolution and updating/upgrading of systems and software
- Carry out routine network maintenance tasks such as maintaining backup and patch management.
- Previous experience in a IT environment, and help desk or service desk role
- Good knowledge of Networks and Microsoft Windows Active Directory environments
- Ideally hold or be working towards MCP qualifications.
- Ability to work on his/her own initiative
- Excellent communication skills about technical issues
- Demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies
- Solution-focused, with ability to prioritise

- Self- motivated and keen to learn and share knowledge
