Responsbilities

• Responsible for the overall product development of eastern and western fashion apparel by analyzing and forecasting customer demand.
• Understand and constantly monitor Pakistani & Global fashion trends and derive up- to-date designs for Daraz fashion brands.
• He/she will use exceptional design skills and knowledge of the current market to

create and innovate commercially viable products, from concept to production.

• He/she will define, interpret and drive the creative direction for seasonal & non- seasonal product assortment
• Lead and develop the Daraz private label fashion design team to create fashion

forward products

• This team will be responsible for the end to end design process that will drive our creative vision
• Inspire creativity within the team and foster new concepts that expand on brand defining products and designs
• Ensure garments meet fit, comfort and construction goals for their respective categories
• Follow the execution of all product details, beyond form, fit and performance, including construction, color, style, detail and cost/value requirements 
• Develop the overall brand identity and place Daraz fashion brand in the market through design definition and execution

Key Requirements

• Preferred university degree in Arts and Design +4-5 years of experience in Apparel Design with demonstrated success
• Expert knowledge of clothing materials and fabrics
• Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, pattern construction, fitting, grading and costing
• Strong aesthetic with exceptional silhouette, color and trend forecasting ability
• Ability to translate trends to specific targeted consumer needs
• Successful experience in working effectively at a senior level and proven ability to provide guidance, mentoring and direction to direct reports
• Entrepreneurial, highly motivated self- starter with the ability to influence, trouble-shoot and problem solve
